A letter to my son.....

We are in the single digits until we actually get to meet. Even though we are continents apart, you are very close to my heart. For as long as I can remember I have always long for a son, my son, you. We knew that God had called us to build our family both biologically and by adoption but we just didn't know how it was going to be done. From South Carolina and Washington, DC to North Carolina, then Virginia, off to Okinawa, Japan and back to Virginia, God took us places and allow our paths to cross many people and experiences that led us to you. We chose you our dear son.

From the moment I saw your picture the 1st time in December I knew you were special. When I saw your picture again in January, I could resist. I showed your picture to your daddy and he said yes that's my son. I think of you often and pray for you more than once a day. Your sisters talk about the different things that they will do with you. You are already an active part of our lives and we haven't even met.

I love you sweet little boy...my love for you grows everyday. I wonder do you think of us.... We sent you a welcome gift through a wonderful family. We all wish we could be there to see your face when you open your bag. Would love to know what you think in feel when you see our family, your room and the cards we made.

It won't be long before we get to hold you in our arms...it won't be long before we feel your embrace..........
