Adoption Update

Every time I begin to doubt that we are on the right path…God sends something our way to remind me that He is directing our path. Even though we are at a standstill in fundraising for our adoption, I can still thank the Lord that we have raised (and saved) almost $11000 towards our adoption (a little over $1500 is in outstanding pledges)!! I'm thanking God for the $1500 grant we got at the beginning of the adoption bringing us to only needing about $8500 more to be fully funded!!

As for where we are in the adoption process….we received our I800a approval. Our dossier will be leaving our agency on tomorrow to be sent to the PI for the approval and official match. Believing God for a speedy approval.  We both are planning to attend the pick up trip which is a change in our original thoughts and plans.

As for fundraisers…we still have the Envelope Fundraiser going on. We also have an online Pampered Chef party going on until next Thursday. As for our adoption….nothing new to report…had to add a few more documents before it will be sent to the PI. Our prayer and hope is that it will be in country by the end of January. Our dossier has been in the PI since early February and is in the process of being reviewed.
